I wrote this. For Jackie. For us. Inspired by the monthly meetings at a post adoption support group. We heard so many golden truths, but applying them feels less natural. I was nervous and excited to read it Jackie. She loved it! At some pages she would just listen quietly. At others she would giggle and ask me to go back to those pages. And on one page she contradicted me. She said she doesn’t feel upset or furious. I told her that some adopted kids at some point feel that way and that I’m always open to hear her heart. It went a bit over her head, I think. But I have small windows to lead the way, to speak Truth into her heart, into her mind. And always reassure her of my availability and love for her.
De un an particip activ intr-un grup de suport post adoptie. Este minunat si inspirant, si este gazduit si moderat la Directie de una din asistentele sociale. Din pacate in curand se incheie grupul de suport in formatul actual. Asadar e timpul sa strangem randurile, sa ne autogospodarim. Daca pentru noi ca adulti intregi si formati, intalnirile astea sunt ca o gura de aer proaspat, un dus rece, cum l-a numit o mamica adoptiva, cu cat mai mult, in viitor, un grup de suport format din familii adoptive va fi necesar pentru copiii nostri.
Cartea va fi publicată in cluj in Ianuarie. Va costa 25 lei. Va fi o versiune șlefuită, in romană si in engleză. 48 de pagini color. Imagini diferite. Va fi minunata.
