Poems of Waiting

This book compiles sporadic poems written over the course of two years. Reading them together I realized they are soaked in anxiety and depressions, but they are also layered with hope and transformed by faith. These are psalms of waiting and in retrospect, it all makes sense.

I love these poems which are raw and a declaration of faith in dark times, lived honestly with my community and kids.

They reflect an intense season of parenting during the pandemic, of waiting to adopt our second daughter and then adapting to change in a new formula.
