Window into my prayer room

Blue ripples
As I glide weightless through the water
I reach the end of myself
And I know not what else to do
But let go.

My eloquence and persuasion are useless
I feel broken.

I cry to God
And he meets me there
In the perfect water
I ask God to reach my brother’s heart
To wake him up
To meet him
Let him see God’s face (Peniel)

I pray for forgiveness.

God,
At 14 I met You
Laying still in my room
You washed over me and filed my heart
Forever.
I asked you to never let me go
No matter what.

No matter the cost.

As I swim
You wash away my worries
You clear my thoughts

And I pray
