Precious Jewels

“Lift up your eyes and look around; all your children gather and come to you. As surely as I live,” declares the Lord, “you will wear them all as ornaments; you will put them on, like a bride.”
— ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭49:18‬‬

God lives.
I lift my eyes up
And see the sun rise
The mountains bow
their tallest peaks

A path is laid
my children Gather
Coming home.

Surprisingly precious jewels
Chiseled by grace
Beautifully set
To shine brighter
Together.

On the jeweler’s table
The work continues
We rest in his Hands
As he chiseled away
Our self reliance.

A spine to straighten
Teeth to make better
Bones to make strong

We lay down our life
With joy.
To be a voice for the mute
Legs for the cripple
Shoulder for the weak.

We signed up to worry
To serve,
to spend sleepless nights
To share and to listen

Not bone of my bone
But heart of my heart.

We serve You Lord.

Thus far
Loving our daughters
Has be so easy.

A bit of hardship
brings truth to the matter
Our precious jewels are chiseled
To bond stronger
To shine brighter

We are your servants Lord
May you shine brighter
Through our tears.
