In March we booked our roundtrip tickets to London. Fist time in UK. At the time we had no other plans to travel in 2015. In the meantime we ended up traveling to 12 countries.
This trip was very purposeful. My friend’s wedding. Her and I became closer friends working and traveling together in California 10 years ago. She is the kind of person that sees you. She listens intently and her conversations are riveting. She is kind and poetic. And this weekend I got to witness the wonderful love between her and her now husband, and we celebrated with them their union.
While work was on Conrad’s mind a lot, and we had lurking issue with our email accounts (explains the nagging feeling that something is not right, and that it’s just getting worse but I couldn’t figure out what) we still got to visit London for two days. After a year of traveling, we realize that we are not like most people, and the (hopefully well intended) warnings and advice we received, did not apply to us. We all experience the world in very personal ways.
