A memorable day, surprisingly easy though somewhat hectic navigating the mall with little feet and little hands and easily distracted eyes.

It happens often. But not with every kid. Jaclyn would go to them and gently touch their hand. Looks them in the eyes and smiles. It’s unexpected. I now just watch her. It’s sweet. I’m not sure what goes through her head when she does that. Then holds their hand for a while in silence. Even the other parents find it sweet. So we just enjoy this spontaneous act of human contact.
