Snuggles

She is a snuggle bug. And we love it. But as she feels more and more at home, instead of the cup filling up faster, the bucket seems to get bigger.

She likes her arms rubbed, her feel ticked her back scratched, her forehead kisses and all the hugs and squeezes on can give.
Tonight I was talking with our social worker about this. And she said “don’t hold back” let her say “I’m full!” I’m set. But I have a feeling this little hug bear will enjoy our touch, hugs and kissses for many years to come. But not because of why we seek and enjoy physical touch. She has an actual primordial need that hasn’t been properly filled at its right time. So we are playing catch up. No worry though. The hugs and squeezes are just as sweet and plenty to be had. Thank God for Conrad (aka daddy) who has introduced me to the joy of many hugs and kisses a day.
