My nephew Luca showed up with bouquets of flowers for my mom and me, and for Jackie & Ivy. They were shy about the whole deal, especially as he came with a friend, Tobi. I was so excited about the whole thing, because i love to get flowers & because this exercise in gallantry is beautiful & necessary for both boys & girls.
My heart melts with joy for the kind of young man my nephew is growing to be. And for the girls to know how it feels to be showered with attention. This is a cousin we took on a few trips, camping & hiking, and was so easy and respectful and adaptable. He wheats treated Jackie with kindness & generosity and she grew up with him around, playing at the grandparents and having each others back.
May god bless his path, his friendships, his heart. May he make wise decisions and grow in strength and wisdom always. Surround him with good friends who speak the truth and who encourage each other in the righteous ways.
