The map says it will take us 10.5 hours to get there, but in reality it takes 14. If you take into consideration much needed breaks and the fact that the road through romania passes through a village every few kilometers and the speed limit is 50km/h.
We arrive into this heavenly place, though it didn’t hold much promise till we actually arrived. And then it was breathtaking.
We hiked our lungs out the first morning. But it was wonderful after we passed the mental and physical barrier. We walked around, visited a woodcarver who was just delightful, and ate amazing food cooked by the chefs at Hois’s Wirt. An amazing experience all around.
