Grammie and Grampa are visiting. She has more people to play with her, and yet she feels more restless and agitated. It is a struggle to have her take a nap.
The days are filled with fun. She hiked 6 km yesterday. We had a picnic. Today we went to the Botanical Garden and then we went and had ice-cream. The first adventure day we lowered ourselves in the biggest salt mine, Salina Turda, a beautiful adventure …as we went on a boat ride on a pitch black water.
Jackie loves her grandparents! She speaks more english than I ever imagined happening so fast. It is a quick english immersion. And it is fascinating to me that her little young brain can distinguish so clearly between the languages.
Here are our first three full days of fun during the first week of the much awaited visit.
