What happens at the grandparents stays at the grandparents.

It’s so early in the winter, and yet we are so over it already. The below freezing temperatures started over a month ago, and just now the holidays are over. A long icy road lies ahead.

Jack-lily is very social. She often asks me to call such and such mom to see if she can play with her kids. She loved our weekend in the mountains because there were kids. She likes to take in her surroundings and pays attention to other’s emotions, just for fun, or invites them to “come,…

We spent this past weekend in the mountains. It was relaxing. It was educational. It was fun. As a new parent I pay attention, voluntary and involuntary, to other parents and their kids.

There is no growth without friction. We are establishing a rapport of trust For the future … She – Pushing limits. We – Staying put. Yet both adapting.

Last week Jackie entered into the “NO” phase, (the stubborn kind). And then the “Why” phase. She is so inquisitive and she actually remembers what I tell her. Like a little hungry bird, opening its beak to information and to knowledge.
