Down to the wire

Today I pulled a blank sheet of paper and made a “stress list”. I wake up with a clear mind, but as I start my day a slew of tasks and responsibilities flood my mind. So I just need to get them out. My engine knows how to run at a proper speed, but it accelerates randomly through the day when I realize how much I have on my plate and try to tackle it all at once.

On the other hand, a sense of completion, of being almost done, floods me with joy. True happiness is not about having no worries, no responsibilities and no problems. It is working purposefully, hard and overcoming challenges.

So about that list. Yesterday we had a design meeting for Altmannhaus then went to two coffee events, very beneficial for Wanderlust. Today we sold another grinder and then added 4 more people to the conference list. Made more plans for the women and delegated some tasks for the drive to Valea Draganului. We also need to take a look at our Golf’s AC, and do an oil change before we drive to Split. Conrad is preparing a creative brief as we speak and we have a few important meeting to coordinate or attend in the next week: a reunion, a birthday, a meet and greet, a meeting with the startup, a dinner event and a lunch party; a visit to an elder and making sure the youth group is communicating properly with our elders – so Sunday evening won’t be a flop with a echo;)

For Monday night we planned an event at Marty City, for people from all walks of life to come and connect with our lovely ladies from PBCC. Last Sunday we shared a lot more about the upcoming conference, just in case someone hadn’t heard about it. We live a fast paced life, and people have selective hearing. To the best of my ability, I wanted to make sure that everyone gets the chance to connect with our visitors, on a neutral territory, even if and especially if they can’t make it to the conference.

The sleeping arrangements are made, the main meals and social events are scheduled, the list of attendees is ready. We will start our mornings slow, in Terra, with delicious food, coffee, tea and the beautiful hills. We also set time aside to explore Cluj.

I have been tremendously blessed by the short message Grace sent indirectly to me. You have given me more courage to make last minute decisions that just felt right and were and are an encouragement to a few others as well. I feel the responsibility to be a good stewart of the resources entrusted, but I have a more conservative tendency. PBCC family, this wouldn’t have happened as it is without your support and prayers!
