I care about being cohesive, even as we live a very complex life.

On one hand I’m in awe of these two gifts in our lives. On the other, I wonder if I’m equipped to keep up with the challenges of life as is. 

Adoption is complex. Adults considering adoption want guarantees. But there are none that they are longing for. The only guarantee is that life will be equal parts challenging and rewarding. 

Thus we step out in faith. Receiving enough courage and clarity for today. Tomorrow does not belong to us. 

In hardship we rise up, we find purpose, we discover joy. 

These girls are so full of life. They are brave, resilient, funny. And it’s a privilege to be their mom.
