Human beings are complex. All the heavy stuff I bring up is intertwined with the silliness, intense joy, color. One does not exclude the other. As a teenager I valued consistency of emotions or attitude and belief as one of the greatest admirable qualities. I still agree, but I am older and wiser, to realize that life is not black and white. And we can all drink to that.
