The days blend into each other, but we make time to stop and celebrate, sing, eat good food and reconnect. The old gang got together. It was peaceful. A few people were missing. But we had a whole room downstairs where the kids played unsupervised. Kids here go out a lot. Good for you, parents! It is hectic, it is loud, but socializing in public places becomes second nature and we love it!
Coco’s desserts are dreamy. The young people here are real. The moms are funny, kind and resilient. Carmen is a superwoman.
I am exhausted. It is grey, I don’t make enough time for myself, I crave structure and want a steady team to develop. Prioritizing is not as easy when I juggle the final apartment decorations and setup, family living close by, business kickoff, shipment on its way, administrative and financial responsibilities, small group, church, car purchase, traveling, conference preparations for May, vacation planning with mom and dad…
I ought to remember that it’s ok to be different, to innovate, to take time to rest and have fun, to travel, to enjoy the present.
Liviu provided us with a wonderful reason to reconnect.
