We simplified the decor and the drama of booking a guest speaker and focused on getting to know each other, building community sharing and listening, while learning something new in the process.

We sometimes get lost on the artificial meeting focus, but hospitality is about helping women feel welcomed and safe, not through gifts or decorations.

Women shared openly. We the leaders made a commitment to set the tone being vulnerable ourselves and creating a round table discussion. It was flexible, flowing, we prayed we heart about challenges and successes. It was a slice of heaven. 15 women the perfect number for everyone to hand a turn to share at length.

For next time we just need to choose the theme. And we are set.
