Will she ever embrace the idea of sleep? She has no issue with sleeping per say. But boy, if we tell her she is tired, it is one of the most offensive or threatening things we could utter.
She fell asleep on daddy’s shoulder, mid-song. Conrad could feel her weight change, from upright to limp heavy little body, on top of his hat. She slept through the entire bus ride, from the city center to the airport, 16 km, which took longer than the flight across the Carpathian mountains itself.
It is our biggest battle now. Sometimes it is funny. Other times it’s exhausting, especially when we are tired as well. She sleeps so peacefully otherwise.
