MomCo Iris planning

Sometimes I think we are too tired and too old to start new things. We look around and others seem to have it all together and figured out. Every group needs a catalyst, or so we think.

Some people are natural motivators, extroverts, good communicators, visionaries, with endless energy and ideas. But the reality is that we are all human, with competing demands of life. We get easily discouraged. Is the effort worth it? Why are we even bothering?

Adult friendships are not easy to start. We are not so carefree, we don’t have unlimited time. But, in a rainy standstill traffic, on a Friday night, we came together, a remnant of sort, to discuss the year ahead. I felt validated hearing that others feel the same, pulled in many directions, yet we want to be present, wholeheartedly in whatever project we do undertake.

I see clearly how far we’ve come along in a year. And the more I know these women the more I like them. Also, letting yourself be known takes a bit of courage. Blessings, dear friends! And may we in turn be encouraged together this year. Thank you for your openness and presence.
