We get easily influenced by negative things and thoughts. But consistency in pursuing what is good brings encouragement and hope. We don’t change the world through some meeting, but that sense of belonging, the joy of adoption, the encouragement through stories, funny & clever, are a gift. We end the year managing to get together with our spouses and children all together. A remnant. That’s how it feels on the eve of the holidays. But we made it.
And we gain confidence that it is possible, maybe even in sunnier weather with longer days.
At the beginning of iar adoption journey, all of our expectations were reset. We are forewarned about all the possible problems that we would face. And on the one hand, it was good that we were prepared, but on the other hand, we all experienced miracles bigger and more spectacular than those around us anticipated.
Love and perseverance bring healing. And our beloved children know who they are, and they walk with confidence and determination into their story, creative in various fields, with respect and boldness, with joy and gratitude. And we are blessed beyond measure from the abundance of our good and generous Father.
